Brass Wick Trimmer
Be safe, be clean! In order to prevent your candle from overheating and producing black soot that will contaminate the air that you breathe, you should trim the wick on your candle to 1/4” before you light it. This wick trimmer, with angled handles and an angled cutting head, allow you to easily reach inside container candles to make a quick and level cut that would be impossible with scissors. Great for wooden and linen wicks, the cutting head is designed to catch the trimmed portion of your wick in the small tray so that you can easily remove the debris from your candle. All debris—including wick trimmings and matches—should be removed from the wax pool prior to lighting.
